Welcome to the start of 2007 - 2008 school year, another in the history of an EXCELLENT high school. Talawanda High School received wonderful news in mid-August from the state of Ohio. According to the previous year results, THS has been designated EXCELLENT on the state report card.

I am Mark A. Iles, assistant principal with responsibilities for grades 11 & 12 (attendance, discipline, truancy), Case Manager for students with special needs grades 11 & 12, ProgressBook for staff and parents, Ohio Graduation Testing, District LPDC, School Climate and Continuous Improvement Plan - Program and Instruction Committees.

I am currently a member of the OASSA (Ohio Association of Secondary School Administrators) and NASSP (National Association of Secondary School Administrators).
