The
Talawanda School District provides leadership in
standards-based education, monitors program implementation,
and plans professional development focused on student
success. The district believes in a balanced curriculum
that includes Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social
Studies, Physical Education, Art, Music, Technology, and
Foreign Language. The Ohio Department of Education
currently assesses student performance in the following
five core subject area: Reading, Writing, Mathematics,
Science, and Citizenship.
