World History -
This course studies the social, political, and economic
changes that occurred in Europe. World History gives the
learner a foundation for future American History studies.
This year long course is designed to help the student
prepare for the Social studies portion of the Ohio
Graduation Test. The course will survey history from the
Renaissance through the Cold War. We focus on test taking
strategies and essay construction.
Psychology-
This course surveys the different theories of Psychology.
Students will explore Brain and Body Physiology, Childhood
and adolescent development, adulthood, and consciousness.
Students will be responsible for the successful completion
of a Personal Case Study in which they will expore their
own past, present and future. Psychology is elective the
fills the social studies junior requirement for
graduation.
