Here is a list of the available software installed on every computer in the lab, covering a wide range of needs.
- Microsoft Office 2008
- Open Office (Open source equivilent to Microsoft’s - can read and write the same files)
- Apple Works (this will be phased out in 2010)
- iLife ’08 (including: iMovie, iDVD, iPhoto, Garageband, iWeb and iTunes)
- Adobe Reader
- Web Browsers (Safari, Firefox & Opera)
- iSight Camera’s & Photo Booth (to take portrait snapshots)
- Micro Type
- Image Capture
- Stuffit Expander (Compresses and Opens .zip files)
- All the standard software with OSX (including: Dictionary, Chess, Quicktime, Text Edit, and more!)
*There is currently NO image editing / design software available in the lab... we hope to add some in the future.
